Founded in 1948, the Montecito Association has an annual membership of about 1,100 households.  The homeowners organization acts as a sort of neighborhood watch - fielding comments and concerns from residents, studying and making recommendations on land use issues and organizing major events, amongst many other contributions.  Bill Palladini is the organization's president.
