Karpeles Manuscript
21 West Anapamu
One of the world's largest private holdings of important original manuscripts of documents.  Open daily from 10-4.  Admission is free.

Lotusland
Tours run from mid February through mid November.  Children under 10 years of age may visit with their parents Thursdays and the second Saturday of each month.  Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 10.  Children under 2 are free.

Lobero Theatre
California's oldest continuously operating theatre, named after its founder, Joese Lobero.  The Lobero Theatre opened in 1873 with 1,300 seats and quickly became the heart of cultural activities in Santa Barbara.  Circa 1922, the Community Arts Association bought the building and hired George Washington Smith to design a new structure.  The theatre has hosted many great artist over the years including Lionel Barrymore, Bela Lugosi, Vladimir Horowitz, Clark Gable, Ingrid Bergman, Igor Stravinky, Tyrone Power, Mikhail Baryshnikow and Patrick Stewart.  For more information about the Lobero Theatre visit: www.lobero.com
