Coast Village Business Association

Computers for Families

The Computers for Families project is providing computers, Internet access and training for Santa Barbara County students whose families cannot afford to purchase them.

Montecito Community Foundation

Founded in1966, the Montecito Community Foundation, a tax-deductible charity, grants funds for projects in Montecito, including the placement of wooded street signs.  The Foundation's president, Joan Wells, is joined by 17 other board members.  Anyone interested in supporting the organization may send checks to the Montecito Community Foundation, P.O. Pearl Chase Society

Members meet monthly to hear updates on our current projects (like the Franceschi House), finances, and other topics of preservation interest.   They learn of new preservation threats and debate courses of action and plan activities.  All members are encouraged to attend, to participate in projects and bring interested guests.

Santa Barbara Firefighters Alliance

Santa Barbara Firefighters Alliance is a 501 c (3) non-profit Corporation consisting of an all-volunteer group of community members, current and retired Firefighters, and long time supporters of public safety who have joined together to fill the gap in funding for fire protection agencies and personnel in Santa Barbara County.

Santa Barbara Historical Society

The Museum, constructed in 1965 by the Santa Barbara Historical Society which was founded in 1932, has spent over three decades exhibiting the city's artistic and cultural heritage.  Touring the Historical Museum enables visitors to see a wide array of unique artifacts, photographs, furnishings and textiles dating from the 15th century.

Members of the Santa Barbara Historical Society are invited to attend an annual meeting and lecture series on varying topics throughout the year.

Founded in 1963 by Dr. Pearl Chase and other concerned community leaders, the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation works to protect, preserve, restore, reconstruct, and interpret historic sites within Santa Barbara County.
